Ferromolybdenum
FeMo is an iron alloy consisting of molybdenum and iron, generally containing 50-60% molybdenum, and is used as an alloying additive in steelmaking. Ferro Molybdenum is an alloy of molybdenum and iron. Its main use is as a molybdenum additive in steelmaking. Adding molybdenum to steel gives it a uniform fine grain organisation, improves its hardenability, helps eliminate temper brittleness, and alloys with special physical properties. Adding molybdenum to cast iron improves its strength and wear resistance.

Specification and particle size: natural lump, 10-100mm, powder or customised according to customers' requirements.
Packing: one metric tonne in a big bag, or according to customer's requirement

Introduction to FeMo

FeMo is an iron alloy consisting of molybdenum and iron, generally containing 50-60% molybdenum, and is used as an alloying additive in steelmaking. Ferro Molybdenum is an alloy of molybdenum and iron. Its main use is as a molybdenum additive in steelmaking. Adding molybdenum to steel gives it a uniform fine grain organisation, improves its hardenability, helps eliminate temper brittleness, and alloys with special physical properties. Adding molybdenum to cast iron improves its strength and wear resistance.

Introduction to Ferromolybdenum 55

Iron alloy with molybdenum and iron as main components. It is used as an alloying agent in steelmaking and cast iron. According to the molybdenum content is divided into 70%, 60% and 55% and so on 3 grades, the impurity of other provisions. Molybdenum oxide has also replaced part of the ferromolybdenum as an alloying agent. In addition, molybdenum-aluminium, molybdenum-vanadium-aluminium, molybdenum-nickel and other intermediate alloys are used as alloying agents for titanium alloys, nickel-based high-temperature alloys and aluminium alloys.

Specification and particle size: natural lump, 10-100mm, powder or according to customer's requirement.

Packing: one metric tonne in a big bag or according to customer's requirement

Uses of Ferromolybdenum 55

The greatest application of Ferro Molybdenum is in the production of ferro alloys depending on the molybdenum content and range, which are used in machine tools and equipment, military equipment, refinery tubing, load bearing parts and rotating manoeuvres. Ferro Molybdenum is also used in cars, trucks, locomotives and ships. In addition, ferro-molybdenum is used in stainless and heat-resistant steels that are employed by synthetic fuels and within chemical plants, heat exchangers, generators, refinery equipment, pumps, turbine tubes, ship propellers, plastics and acids, and storage containers. Tool steels with a high proportion of ferro-molybdenum range are used for high-speed machined parts, cold work tools, drills, screwdrivers, moulds, chisels, heavy castings, balls and mills, rolls, cylinder blocks, piston rings and large drill bits.
